Day 11 - Spring stud earrings
For those who like a subtle look, just a wee hint of colour here are my 2 current obsessions in the form of a stud earring.
Cherry Blossom, so many blossoms everywhere these days!
Twilight Swirls, a delicious swirly whirlwind of blues and purples, deep and rich. Also the hardest colours to photograph well.
My stud earrings are little beads of glass that are worked directly onto a sterling silver post. Each stud measures approximately 7mm. Studs are sold by the pair.
My hands made these beads. There is no paint on any of my beads, just glass upon glass upon glass. I use Effetre glass, a little CIM and occasionally Vetrofond. All my beads are kiln annealed, thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
Please remember the jewelry looks larger than life in the pictures which is why it is important to check the size. I have tried to capture the colours as accurately as possible but many monitors vary.
